Other Issues

In addition to social anxiety, I work with the following issues:  

  • Depression – feeling hopeless or flat most of the time
  • General anxiety – feeling incapable of stopping your worry
  • Anger management – helping people be effective with their anger
  • Trauma Recovery – finding a sense of safety and predictability after a traumatic event or relationship

Sometimes people come to therapy with a complaint that does not fit into any of the above categories.  My approach can also help with these experiences:

  • Feeling empty despite appearing ‘normal’ or ‘having it all’ from the outside
  • Living through the eyes of others instead of one’s own point of view
  • Feeling inadequate when comparing oneself to friends or colleagues
  • Difficulty trusting and/or feeling close to others
